"Weather" Most Popular Search on Yahoo! Germany

In addition to my post on mobile Internet usage, where information on wheather was cited as the most popular mobile service, Yahoo! Germany today published the most popular search terms (translation in parentheses), and again "weather" takes the first spot (via):

1. Wetter (weather)
2. Routenplaner (route planning)
3. Erotik (...)
4. Telefonbuch (phone book, white pages)
5. Chat
6. Grusskarten (greeting cards, ecards)
7. Horoskop
8. Spiele (Games)
9. Web
10. Paris Hilton (old, but still good: "do really that many people want to stay there??")

Google Germany publishes a similar list, called "Zeitgeist", the 2006 version however hasn't been released yet, find the Google 2005 Zeitgeist list here, plus the weekly Google Zeitgeist analysis here.
